Samatron
Magnetic rings made of Samatron ® material based on the Samarium Cobalt compound are the least used magnets due to the very high material cost.
This material is used wherever one of the following cases is required:
– Independent of temperature stable magnetic field produced by a magnet (low temperature coefficient)
– High temperature of use of the magnet
– Resistance to demagnetization at elevated temperatures
